An Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Thursday dissolved an 11 -year-old marriage between Mr Azeez Ige and his wife, Bola, over alleged sex starvation.
The court’s president, Mr Adegboyega Omilola, in his judgment, said the court was convinced that the estranged couple was tired of the union, as all efforts to reconcile them had failed.
Ige, a 53-year-old civil servant, had approached the court seeking to dissolve his marriage, on the grounds that the wife had starved him of sex since 2012, the Nation reports..
“My wife is starving me of sex, whenever I wanted to make love to her she always fights me and my body is not a stone nor stick.” he said.
He also told the court that his wife was fetish, a drunk, and had once tried to strangle him, adding, “she held my neck and wanted to kill me but God saved me.”
According to him, Bola consumes excessive alcohol and misbehaves afterwards.
The petitioner said that his wife had kept some strange materials like horns, calabash and other fetish items in his wardrobe.
He added that the woman was in the habit of leaving her matrimonial home for up to a month without permission.
“Whenever I question her she fights me. She always engages herself in a physical combat even with our son’s teachers when she goes there.
“And she always fights me with knife, cutlass but will quickly rush to the police station to report and get me arrested.” he said.
Bola, a 44-year old businesswoman, however, attributed her refusal to have sex with her husband to her fear of getting pregnant.
“I denied my husband sex since 2012 because of my health condition. I gave birth to our only 10-year-old son through operation and I don’t want to experience such again.”
Bola accused the husband of beating her frequently, a situation which made her to severally move out of their matrimonial home, to save her life.

According to the Sun UK, they were offered to buy the sex tape for £10,000, but they rejected the offer and instead alerted Laura's representatives.
On Tuesday, a source close to the BB star told Sun Online:
"Laura will be shocked that this is dangerously close to becoming public. She will be really upset and frustrated that something which should have remained a private moment between two adults has found itself in the wrong hands".A spokesperson for Laura said:

Samson Siasia reveals Man City snubbd him over Kelechi Iheanacho's participation at Rio Olympics

Nigeria's Olympics football team coach Samson Siasia
has revealed how Manchester City football club snubbed his attempts to
get permission for striker Kelechi Iheanacho to participate in the
upcoming Rio Olympics this summer.
According to Siasia, Man City have snubbed several NFF letters written to them.
“The
Nigeria Football Federation has written several letters to them
(Manchester City) wanting to know when the player would be released for
the Games in Brazil, but as I speak with you the club has not replied,"
Siasia told the Manchester Evening News.
“So
for now I cannot confidently tell you that Iheanacho would be available
for the Olympics, although we are not relenting on the issue as the NFF
is fighting tooth and nail to ensure we have our best players for the
Olympics."
Siasia further said Iheanacho himself wants to play in Rio.
“Kelechi
told me he is anxious to play in the Olympics and I am sure with much
pressure the boy would be released eventually,” he said.
“But for now I cannot tell you he will be in the Olympics.”

A shocking video of a woman in Portugal having sex with a bare-chested

played nearby, has gone viral and police in the country have confirmed
they have launched an investigation after being tipped off about the
video.
Onlookers who were stunned, filmed
the shocking scenes at the river beach of Tabuao near the town of
Paredes de Coura in the Porto region of northern Portugal.
The
woman, who covered her nakedness by wearing a sarong, can be seen
looking at the men filming her and smiling during the 11-minute footage.
Police are currently looking for the couple.
